Dr. Campbell joined Parkview Optometry after graduating from the University of Waterloo Optometry program in 1991 and completing part of her training at the University of California, Berkeley. Further studies at NovaSoutheastern University in Oklahoma allowed for training in therapeutic drug management of ocular disease. While focused mostly on providing exceptional care in her own community for the last 30 years, Dr. Campbell has also participated in eye care projects in Jamaica, Mexico and the Dominican Republic. These missions provided thousands of eyeglasses to underprivileged people who otherwise had no access to eye care.
Dr. Campbell is an active member of the Ontario Association of Optometrists, and has had many speaking engagements to community groups and colleagues on various eye care topics. Dr. Campbell has served as a consultant to several eyecare companies. With the emergence of new technologies in eyecare, Dr. Campbell believes it is important to utilize advanced testing to ensure that patients are getting the best eyecare possible.
Dr. Campbell is married to Dr. Dean Bennett, also an Optometrist, who practices in Courtice. Together, they enjoy travel, golf and pickleball. Dr. Campbell also enjoys yoga and marathons, and strives to lead by example to her patients of the importance of overall health to ones’ eyesight and eyehealth.
